Medicon is an open access Publisher, we dont receive any funds/income from Government/any other private Organization. In order to takeover the publication charges we request the authors for a minimum fee.
Why do Medicon open access journals charge a publication fee?
Firstly Medicon journals are in open access format so that anyone anywhere can access & download all the articles easily. The Journal purely runs by the contribution made from Kind-hearted personalities and the contribution made from you adds a great value to the journal.
We request an affordable publication fee to overcome basic publication charges like Electronic archiving, plagiarism checking, Editing, double blinded peer review process, Web maintenance, Dedicated web-hosting, Indexing of articles, proofreading, quality check, PDF Designing and Article maintenance in online. Article processing charge (APC) helps us to index the articles in various databases like Google scholar, Crossref, Publons, DRJI, ICMJE, Scilit, Researchgate, etc.
Medicon open access publishers request the Affordable publication fee of $399 (inclusive of all taxes) for all the types of articles.
For Indian authors the publication fee will be 6099INR (inclusive of all taxes) for all the types of articles.
Article withdrawal policy
Authors have complete right to withdraw the article after submission. If the author wants to withdraw the article after complete article process (or) after double blinded peer review process, then author has to pay the withdrawal fee (30% of the Article processing charge).
