Abstract
This paper presents the results of a k - ε turbulence model for a rectangular airfoil problem using standard Comsol Multiphysics solvers. Flow around a rectangular airfoil was studied at Reynolds numbers of 10 000 < Re < 2 000 000 and angle of attack α = 0°-20°. Results were obtained for speed, pressure and other parameters for different angle values. The implementation of the Comsol Multiphysics software package showed good convergence, stability and high accuracy of the model.
